Carl Purcell donated this vibrant original watercolor during his workshop last fall. We are conducting a Silent Auction for the NVWS Western Fed account and are auctioning this original half sheet watercolor. The minimum bid starts at $50.00 and the auction will continue until May's meeting. To make a bid, contact Barbara Stanton at 804-6549 or balastanton@coxnet. She will record your bid and it will be updated on this website. Please check this website for the latest bid. You do not have to be a member of NVWS to bid and it's a great way to own a Carl Purcell original and support the Nevada Watercolor Society.

This will be a "Member's Choice" Juried Show and all entry fees will be used for awards. Ballots will be collected at the reception and award winners will be notified on February 15th by phone
February 15, 2012 - Spring Show EARLY Judging
Drop off paintings between 9 am and 11:30am at the Springs Preserve

Judging will occur between noon and 2pm. Paintings can be picked up from 2:30 to 4:30 pm
This EARLY JUDGING is for the NVWS Annual Spring show which will run from from March 16th to May 6th, 2012. This show is open to anyone using water-based media. You do not need to be a member of NVWS to enter.
